Before Your Tour

Just a Few Reminders

• We have found that it’s best for couples to have a good understanding of their guest count and all-in budget prior to coming onsite for a tour.  So, if you indicated unknown on your tour request questionnaire, One of our Team Leaders may be reaching out to discuss this in further detail.  Budget talks can be tough, but we are here to help you through it and give you a realistic look at what it will cost to host a wedding at Black Sheep.  We understand you just got engaged and it’s supposed to be a fun and exciting time, so how fun would it be to fall in love with our space, only to determine that the numbers don’t work out.  As hard as that discussion might be, we would rather have it now, before you invest your time and heart into us on a tour because it’s the right thing to do.  If you have any questions on this, just ask. We are here to help.

• Please invite anyone to the tour who you feel needs to see the venue in person before you’re comfortable signing a contract.   Instead of offering second private tours, we ask that couples and their families attend one of our monthly open houses (April - October).  So if you have a parent or other family member that you want to be with you on your private tour, invite them along so you don’t have to wait for an open house. 

• Almost everything we go over on the tour, is actually on our website.  In order to not overwhelm you with new information, we recommend taking a good look at our website prior to your tour, so when you come in, you’re ready with any questions we may not have answered and you can enjoy the space and all it has to offer.  

• Just a reminder – we do not hold dates without a contract.  That being said, it is possible that your preferred date may get booked prior to your tour.  We do our best to keep our available dates on the website up to date, so I would encourage you to check and make that we still have dates available that you are interested in, prior to your tour.  

• If something comes up and you need to reschedule your tour, please give us 24 hours notice. Most people are very good about this, without us even asking. If anything happens where you need to cancel or reschedule (we get it, life happens) we made it easy for you to let us know. Just use the links in your tour confirmation texts or emails to cancel or reschedule your tour. We appreciate your communication with us in advance.

• Finally, we want you to know that we are a “no pressure” venue.  We want what’s best for YOU.   For that reason, we do not write contracts or take deposits during onsite tours.  If you feel that Black Sheep’s venue is your ideal fit for your special day, all contracts and deposit detail will be handled via email and/or mail following your visit.  If you have questions regarding our contract rules, deposits, payment plans, etc. please check out our FAQ page here.
